HairHub is operated by T.E.A.M Coach LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). HairHub is a mobile application that helps users discover, compare, and review hair extension companies. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the HairHub app.
Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and, if you sign in with Apple, your Apple ID credentials. Authentication is handled securely by Supabase (our database provider) and Apple. We do not directly store or manage your passwords.
User-Generated Content: Written reviews, star ratings, photos, video reviews (including "Quick Take" short-form video reviews), and profile information (display name, username, bio, profile photo) you voluntarily submit through the app. This content is associated with your account and visible to other users.
Usage Data: We collect anonymous usage data including which screens you visit, companies you view, and features you use. This helps us improve the app experience.
Device Information: Device type, operating system version, and app version for troubleshooting and compatibility.

HairHub includes an AI assistant called HairGuru powered by Anthropic's Claude. When you ask HairGuru a question, your message is sent to Anthropic's API to generate a response. HairGuru accesses our company database to provide accurate answers — it does not access your personal information, browsing history, or private data.
We do not send personally identifiable information to Anthropic unless you explicitly include it in your message. Anthropic does not use your queries to train their models.
We use the following third-party services to operate HairHub:
Your data is stored securely on Supabase's cloud infrastructure with encryption at rest and in transit. Photos, videos, and profile pictures you upload are stored in Supabase Storage with authenticated access controls that prevent unauthorized access. Video reviews are stored as MP4 files; photos as JPEG files. All media is served via signed URLs that require authentication. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information.
Your data may be processed and stored in the United States or other jurisdictions where our service providers operate.
We retain your data only as long as necessary to provide the service or comply with legal obligations. When you delete your account, your personal data — including reviews, photos, and profile information — is permanently removed within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

By submitting content (written reviews, star ratings, photos, Quick Take video reviews, or profile information) to HairHub, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to display, reproduce, distribute, and use your content within the app, on our website, and for marketing and promotional purposes. You retain ownership of your content and may delete it at any time. Deleting a review permanently removes all associated media (photos, videos) from our servers.
We do not guarantee the accuracy of user-generated content or reviews. Reviews and ratings reflect the opinions of individual users and do not represent the views of T.E.A.M Coach LLC.
HairHub is not intended for users under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at privacy@thehairhub.app and we will delete it.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Your reviews and ratings are visible to other HairHub users as part of the app's core functionality. We may share anonymized, aggregated data (such as overall review trends) that cannot be used to identify you.
Subscription payments are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect, store, or have access to your payment information, credit card numbers, or billing details. Subscription management (cancellation, refunds) is handled through your Apple ID settings.
We do not respond to Do Not Track signals at this time.
In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you via email or a prominent notice in the app before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by email. Your continued use of HairHub after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
