By downloading, accessing, or using HairHub ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App. HairHub is operated by T.E.A.M Coach LLC ("we," "us," or "our").
You must be at least 13 years old to use HairHub. If you are between 13 and 18, you must have parental or guardian consent. By using the App, you represent that you meet these requirements.
To access certain features, you must create an account using Apple Sign-In. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and all activity that occurs under it. You agree to provide accurate information and to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
HairHub offers three subscription tiers:
Subscriptions are billed monthly through Apple's App Store. Apple's terms and refund policies apply to all subscription purchases. You may cancel at any time through your Apple ID settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
HairHub allows users to submit written reviews, star ratings, photos, and video reviews including "Quick Take" short-form video reviews ("User Content"). You may submit multiple reviews and Quick Takes for the same company (e.g., for different purchases or follow-up updates). By submitting User Content, you:
All users must adhere to HairHub's Community Standards. The following are prohibited:
Enforcement: First offense results in content removal and a warning. Second offense results in a 30-day posting ban. Third offense results in permanent account suspension. Severe violations (threats, doxxing, hate speech) result in immediate permanent suspension.
HairHub uses artificial intelligence (Claude by Anthropic) to power the HairGuru shopping assistant and to scan reviews for safety and compliance. AI-generated recommendations are based on data in our database and should not be considered professional advice. AI safety scans are automated; flagged content may be auto-rejected or held for review.
The HairHub Score is a proprietary rating aggregating data from multiple sources including YouTube, Google, TikTok, and in-app user reviews. Scores are calculated algorithmically and are not influenced by advertising, sponsorship, or any payment from hair companies. HairHub reserves the right to modify the scoring methodology at any time.
Hair companies featured on HairHub may claim their profiles through the HairGuru Weave Foundation program. Claimed companies may respond to user reviews (clearly labeled as "Response from [Company Name]") but may not edit, hide, or remove any user reviews. Companies may flag reviews they believe contain threats, slurs, or verifiably false statements for moderation. HairHub makes the final determination on all flagged content.
Users who receive free products from hair companies must disclose this by selecting the "Gifted" or "Sponsored" label on their review. Failure to disclose sponsored content is a violation of these Terms and FTC guidelines. Sponsored and gifted reviews carry reduced weight in HairHub Score calculations and are visually distinguished from organic reviews.
The HairHub name, logo, HairHub Score algorithm, AI HairGuru system, and proprietary database are the intellectual property of T.E.A.M Coach LLC. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the App without written permission. User Content remains the property of the user who created it, subject to the license granted in Section 5.
HairHub is a platform for user-generated reviews and is protected under Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act (47 U.S.C. § 230). HairHub does not author, edit, or endorse user reviews. Individual reviews represent the opinions of the users who posted them. HairHub is not liable for the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any user-generated content.
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. T.E.A.M COACH LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless T.E.A.M Coach LLC, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the App, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.
Your use of HairHub is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We collect minimal data to operate the App, never sell your personal information, and provide you the ability to delete your account and all associated data at any time.
HairHub may request access to the following device features:
All media (photos, videos, profile pictures) uploaded to HairHub is stored securely on Supabase cloud storage with authenticated access controls. Media is permanently deleted when the associated review or account is deleted.
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or Community Standards. You may delete your account at any time through the App settings. Upon termination, your license to use the App is revoked, but Sections 5, 11, 12, and 13 survive termination.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the App or via email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts located in Cook County, Illinois.
